If you look closely there are alot of Crazy Laws From Around The World That Still Exist Today, many of them are harmless but some are quite nasty!


There are many old wives tales laws that can't be verified. In today's collection we picked 30 Crazy Laws Around The World, ranging from silly traffic, reincarnation to crazy restrictions, these Crazy Laws couldn't be more strange and some out dated!

11. Singapore prohibited the sale of gum after authorities noticed a prolific amount of chewed gum being stuck in subway stations and on cars. As weird as it may sound, Singapore allows you to actually chew gum – just make sure you stick it in the trash can, otherwise great fines apply.

12. In Saudi Arabia, there is no minimum age for marriage. In 2008, a Saudi court refused an 8-year-old girl, who asked for a divorce from her 58-year-old husband.

13. Drivers in Denmark are supposed to drive vehicles with their headlights on. You’d think this law would apply to night driving but it doesn’t. It is considered essential during the day as well or they may face a fine of up to $100. Studies have shown that this has helped a lot to avoid road accidents in Denmark.

14. In 29 states in the US it is legal to fire someone for being gay.

16. In Greece, police are allowed to arrest anyone suspected of having HIV. Police are also allowed to force HIV testing, to publicize the names of HIV-positive people and to have them evicted from their homes.

17. In France it is still against the law for women to wear pants. The law has allegedly been on the books since 1800. It was amended several times: once in 1892 to allow women to sport trousers while riding horses and again in 1909 to permit the ladies to wear pants while on bicycles.

18. In July 2013 a law was passed in China that states it is illegal for adult children to not visit their parents “often” in China. They are also required to attend to their parent’s spiritual needs.

25. In Utah, a husband is responsible for his wife’s actions as long as he is with her at the time of her “actions.”

26. In parts of India, a man who is in debt can offer up his wife until the debt is paid.

27. In Greece, if anyone wants to get married, the law requires those to publish their wedding notice in a newspaper (written in Greek) or on the City Hall notice board.

28. In New York City it is illegal to honk your horn. If you do, you’re at risk of paying $350 fine.

29. In Sweden it is illegal to be found buying the services of a prostitute, even though prostitution is legal. Which means the prostitutes themselves would not be breaking the law. In the past few years Iceland and Norway have also adopted this law.

30. In Russia, Vladimir Putin just recently made it illegal to tell kids that gay people exist.
